A Prayer for Peace
Gracious and Loving God, the One who is Peace,
In a world often filled with turmoil and unrest, we turn our hearts to You, the God of Peace. We are humbled and awed by Your nature, Your love, and Your desire to bring tranquility and harmony into our lives.
Lord, we pray that we may be still and know that You are God. Help us to trust in Your promises, to rest in Your goodness, and to walk in the path of peace that You have laid before us. May we embody Your peace in our interactions with others, extending grace, compassion, and understanding as You have shown to us.
Grant us, O God, the peace that surpasses all understanding, a peace that guards our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. May we find solace in Your word, strength in Your presence, and joy in the assurance that You are our Peace.
In the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and our Peace, we pray. Amen.
