Help us, Lord, to grieve and mourn as those with hope. Guide us through the valley of the shadow of death, and lead us gently towards healing and peace.

God of all comfort, console us with Your presence. Heal our hearts with Your unfailing love. Strengthen our faith so we might find courage in Your promises. And let the memory of our loved one inspire in us a deeper love for You and for one another.
